Cameroon

Field Research Proposal for Cameroon
Cameroon is a lower middle-income (World Bank Data) country located in Central Africa. It has an estimated population of 24 million people with a vast majority of the population living below the poverty line. This means that, an average Cameroonian can not afford his/her basic needs and is unable to sufficiently provide basic commodities like clean drinking water, electricity as well as State of the Art medical facilities. The Cameroonian economy depend on the income gotten from the exportation of crude oil and agricultural products. This means that the economy is not diversified and has the inability to generate jobs and provide employment for young people as a result, the country has a high rate of employment.
